My job is anything but a normal 9-5. I wake up most mornings with the fun memories from last night's event or activation running through my mind, hopefully not with a headache (always drink responsibly!).
I’m often running around all over the city but I aim to catch up with the team in the office a couple of mornings a week to pick up on any joint projects we are working on. The remainder of those mornings will then be spent liaising with our diverse range of key accounts as it’s important to me that they have an ongoing personal touch point. We’re often talking through new ideas of how we can bring JUBEL to life in their accounts and getting lots of exciting things lined up so that our customers have the best experiences possible when they come into contact with our beer. This is also my opportunity to catch up on any new emails and have a chat with Tassy who does my job down in Cornwall and across the South West. We’re often swapping successful ideas to make sure our brand experience is consistent.
Onto the afternoon where I will visit three to five customers out in the trade for a catch up, to review past events and to work on new ones, as well as grabbing a bite to eat and maybe a cheeky JUBEL! Late afternoon and into the evening is where it starts to get really exciting as I am usually preparing for that nights’ event or activation. It’s a similar buzz to the rush of adrenaline I imagine footballers get before they walk onto the pitch! The burst of energy begins as a number of our accounts come to life that particular evening to raise the profile of JUBEL. It’s great to experience first hand the hugely positive feedback our product receives in an environment that we have created to represent our values as a brand in the best way possible! The fact I am able to be there as it all happens also means I can feed back to the rest of our team about what works for our customers.
The best part of my job however, has to be when I see so many friends of the brand coming down to enjoy an ice cold pint or bottle of fruit-infused liquid gold with us, nothing beats it!
